Do you get customs hassles with imported DVDs?
Do you get customs hassles with imported DVDs?
I never have, but you might if you buy a silly amount, or have them sent by FedEx. There is another thread about this somewhere.

btw i recco www.yesasia.com for dvds…they ship from HK so its often free freight…i got a bunch of kurosawa dvd’s from them…delivered in 2 days flat

oh and anyone want to make USD30 credit with yesasia doing mail delivery trials let me know…

My advise: keep your orders to max. 2 DVDs for one order (if it’s a double-DVD release that means one title).
That way you should be able to avoid any hassle by customs.

Never had any problems with customs. Normally order between 12 and 20 DVDs from Amazon in the UK at a time (about once every 6 months). Usually arrive in about a week via DHL. No problems.

Be carefull when using courier services - they may pay the custom charges on behalf of you and send you an invoice half a year later. Happened so to me twice (sending from Malaysia to Germany though).
