in my profile I link to an offsite avatar, and in my profile the avatar appears, but here in the forum a posted message doesn’t display the avatar … the size and the measurements are correct (normally seen).

stupid system … why is there this whole guanxi stystem ? So if you want to have an avatar displayed one need to reply on 100 messages or post 50 new messages ? (or a combination), what’s the use of that ?
I think it’s there to encourage you to stick around. There are other ways to get guanxi too, you can also be given it.
