Taiwanese food maker Chi Mei Frozen Food Co. (CMF), a subsidiary of Chimei Group, will begin producing frozen dumplings at its newly established plant in Poland in August, according to the company's top executive on Wednesday.
Good location choice. Learning curve shouldn’t be too steep.

Poland grow wheat, Taiwan doesn’t, so I suppose that part makes sense. Taiwan have to import the wheat before they even start doing their delicate little pleating and pinching. I suppose a lot of these dumplings are going to be export product anyway, EU being a hub to send everywhere? My 2 groszy.

Good point, with Poland you have:
Raw materials
Experience with dumplings
Central location in Europe
Here is a song for your topic.
i think the ones we get in calif are made here in calif .
We had some in Warsaw not good at all, Baltics taste better
In the nearby Baltics, I seldom see it from Poland. Local preferred.
Even in Warsaw, my Taiwanese co worker choose ribs over dumpling (almost same prices)
I had some nice Korean ones in Tofu soup there
