Super uneven match. Manny doesn’t have many fights left. COVID inactivity puts a premium on who Manny picks. If he picks Mcgregor, then that’s it for Manny’s career, it’s basically a campaign donation for Manny. Time to be president for the guy. The fight would bore me, though. If Thurman, a younger seasoned champion can get dropped by Pacquiao, then sorry the match is a money grab joke.

Sounds like a big pay day for both sides. Manny is looking for money for a good cause while Mcgregor always got that this is a business first.

People have been saying that for decades, usually weight specific (heavyweight is usually the target). Go back to the 50s and the mob controlled which fighter won. Ali fighting a Japanese wrestler in the 70s. It’s always been like that.

That’s what is in the news now. Disappointing fight for me. No real challenge or danger. But I guess with the likes of Arum with Crawford, it is impossible to make a fight. Arum gave up on Pacquiao about around the bogus Horn fight. Would have paid money to see Arum face when Pac dropped Thurman. Pretty much after Thurman, Arum really isn’t about to let his cash cow into the ring with an 8 division, dual heavy handed champion. Pacquiao boxing IQ is off the charts and his slowing down is still better than these guys. Just incredible.
