Guys, please do recheck these things and tell everyone you know. They were showing them burned up on TV, and less than 21% have been recalled so far, out of more than 20 thousand units per model.
The japanese Mitsubishi dehumidifier has been added to the list.
Icon, I just checked the official website for mandatory recall, couldn’t see any reference to the Mitsubishi dehumidfier, do you have the link? if so can you post it please? I have their 1800cc model and am mighty worried.
Nope, it is not there and I can’t find it. Better call wher eyou bought it or teh service line -printed normally somewhere around teh bottom- for clarifycation. Those things are certainly not to delay!
update: made several calls to Mitsubishi electric this morning, they said, so far there’s no news of recall on their dehumidifier, so nothing to be done for now, but I’ll make it a point to use the dehumidifier only when we are around and awake in the room.
