Anyone know of a similar/alternative game to paper scissors stone? Just trying to “spice” things up before I go out of my mind.
Here’s an English explanation of a game that I heard referred to as 棒打老虎雞吃蟲 / bang4 da2 lao3hu2, ji1 chi1 chong2 (“club beats tiger, chicken eats worm,” I guess):

The poster on the above site calls it “the Chopstick Game,” and he or she mentions another game (“Xi Shua Shua”) just below it.
Here’s a Chinese-language Wikipedia entry on the “club-tiger-chicken-worm” game:

Hope this helps.
Very simple:
Tiger - Man - Gun
Gestures
Tiger: Arms up with a mean tiger face.
Man: Arms crossed over chest
Gun: Two hands make two guns
Have students stand back to back and then say, “Tiger, Man, Gun” then they must quickly turn around with one of the gestures. Tiger eats man. Man takes the guns. Guns kill the tiger.
Not playing it?
