I have National ID / HHR through my father. but my mom is still NWOHR.
can she get 居留證 through me instead? because registering their marriage is so much work. I have to get hukou translated, notarized and authenticated and go back to my country’s TECO and submit the hukou with authentication to get their marriage certificate authenticated again. then go back to taiwan immigration to get her 居留證.
i read that 居留證 AF353 is 有直系血親在臺灣地區設有戶籍者. so it is just blood relative? not specific to parent to child. so maybe it can also be child to parent? I already have my birth certificate authenticated to prove that we are blood related. maybe this step is easier?
anyone here have tried this method?
