Economics is completely different. Very few people make enough to support an entire family, used to be minimum wage was enough to do that but now, you need to be upper management to afford to do that. So nobody wants kids unless you are in places like Gaza where people just die all the time (I think the average age of people in Gaza is like 30 years).
