I’m changing jobs, but I haven’t renewed my passport because it takes so long now. I planned to wait until I had a new job, but now I’m worried there’s some 6 month until expiry rules. I can’t find anything in regards to ARCs. I had to before, but I had 10 months until expiry. If I can get an ARC, I can renew the passport then. I’ll have 4 or 5 months until expiry.
The expiry of the ARC will be same date as the expiry of the passport. When you get new passport you have to renew the ARC again. (They can wave the fee the second time)
