Pay stubs /copies of contract / law info

My place of employment is balking at giving employees copies of their contracts, and refusing to give pay stubs noting number of hours worked, tax deducted, etc. (Though, as a K-12 international school, teachers aren’t required by the gov. to pay income taxes and don’t get the annual “kou jiao ping dan” tax receipt).

The school is not following contractual agreements, and without getting pay stubs or copies of contracts, it is difficult to even discuss the problem with administration. We suspect they are trying to obfuscate the situation; we have been petitioning about these two matters for two years now, with no result.

Word has it that getting a receipt / pay stub when salary is disbursed is required by law. Does anyone have any specific info. on any laws regarding this, or giving employees copies of contracts, as well? I suspect that if we give school administration a word-for-word copy of law regarding this, they will do things the standard way.

Alternatively, is there any law firm where I could simply pose this sort of question and get a bit of information for a nominal fee?

Many Thanks in Advance

You will need those documents if you ever get made redundant and hope to get severance pay. For advice, try the Department of Labour Affairs at Taibei City Government. I think it’s on the 5th floor - you can just walk in.
