Pay taxes on foreign income with spouse out of country

My spouse is leaving the country and we haven’t been able to do taxes yet. We both have US income (same employer). I know in the past we both had to sign there. Is there any kind of form or letter that I could fill out allowing me to pay for her? I know there’s an agent line on ARCs but the tax forms I can find online don’t seem to have these.

There is one. Because I signed it so the wife could do the taxes this year. We got it from the tax office.

In previous years, I literally wrote my name on a white piece of paper and my wife wrote a line about giving her permission to file on my behalf. I remember one year my wife phoning me up because I hadn’t signed my name on the blank page she left on the table. I told her to sign for me but she thought the tax office would know that she signed on my behalf. I had to go back home to sign it. Sigh.
