PayPal merchant

My Paypal account needs a US bank account to receive funds. I also have a Payoneer account that when I tried to deposit money into an account it was just returned by Fubon bank. So what payment gateways are now open to people with bank accounts in Taiwan? I got small amounts of money stuck all over the place. Before a few years back it was all easy now it’s a headache. I don’t have a formal business. I want customers to be able to pay with their cards on the website and I deposit that into a Taiwan bank account. It sounds easy right ? Not at all. If you have a foreign residence address it’s easy but I don’t. Therefore I am just interested in a simple answer. Stripe doesnt do Taiwan. Payoneer as I said my money is stuck. Square pay I need company documents. PayPal I have and it was integrated into Calendy booking system but now I can’t because I need the merchant account. Gor the merchant account you cannot use a Taiwan adresd. Not Line Pay , as who even knows that outside Taiwan. Living here is becoming increasingly annoying.

Your US paypal account needs a US bank account to receive funds.

But opening a Taiwanese Paypal would support the only bank that allows paypal deposits, Esun.

And I hate both Paypal and Esun so I would never recommend them.

What do you use? Officially I know it’s only E.Sun but I sometimes deposit small amounts of funds into my Mega Bank account with PayPal. The annoying thing is just that, I cannot open a merchant PayPal account (I have a personal one ) without a US account. I used to have one with a British account but that is long gone. I might have to open a sole trader company or something like that and then more payment options come viable. Anyway I think i have worked around it. I’ll have to send manual payment invoices with my personal PayPal.

You have to open up a taiwanese paypal with a second email and taiwanese number

I try to avoid using Paypal now because of Trump’s threats against Canada.

I

I got scammed on a pair of night vision binoculars which never arrived. I appealed to PayPal and lost. I was in shock. I was totally scammed ,plain, as day. I really don’t get it. Anyway just need a payment gateway. AI came up blank pretty much, and I even could see AI searching Forumosa (as it writes what it’s doing).

You might need to keep trying banks with Payoneer.

Because AI is stupid and I don’t know why people use it. It’s just predictive text. It doesn’t think.

It’s so over rated. It is useful for mundane tasks. I’ve tried most of the AI and it’s so stupid in terms of zero comon sense. It also over complicates small tasks. I thought that maybe out there someone else has come to the conclusion that it’s stupid

It’s also eating all the world’s RAM supply, forcing everything tech to jump in price.

Personally, if I need to use AI, I run it locally, and not give my info to the greedy GPT companies.

They’re

They’re definitely leaching info. The one bit of hope I gained for the future of humanity is AI is not as smart as I thought. It’s hard to compete with millions of years of natural selection. I’ll probably go to E.Sun to ask about Pay Pal. What problems did you face with them if I may ask ? I mainly use Mega Bank these days not because they’re good but more because they tend to leave me alone.

Ok, I gotta ask. Hunting rats at night in apartment, or..?

I used to do a lot of hiking , very deep into Taiwan’s mountains. Often at night. I was an experienced hiker. They’re useful for spotting animals. Nothing serious just a hobby. No Hannibal Lector stuff , I’m sorry to disappoint ha

this, I use Gemini pro (given complimentary at work) just to collate data and sort it out, I then analyse it. AI is as smart as the stupidest string of code which makes it. It’s all a very fancy Excel spreadsheet.

Still useful in some scenario, not life changing and no, it won’t substitute humans any time soon.

AI generated pics are crap mostly like genmoji.

Situation is bad. None of the internationally recognised ones work. ECPay probably the most advanced local option and it’s not great.

I thought about the local options but I’m shying away from them due to bad experiences, but I’ll take a look at it thanks . I even tried to sell some second hand goods and was refused by Ebay saying “The Greater China area is too high risk.” A lot of this is a result of all the scamming here, it’s getting a reputation like Nigeria (Well not quite but moving in that direction.).
