Claiming that the Batanes is a part of China because it is connected to Taiwan’s Ponso no Tao, and the people ultimately came from China. If we follow that logic to the conclusion, China is actually claiming that all territory with a significant Austronesian population belongs to China, since they are claiming all Austronesians are Chinese.
What race are Chinese, and what race are Filipinos?

Chinese are East Asians, Filipinos are Austronesian/Malays same as indigenous Taiwanese.

I’m all for it. Whereas the re-airing the monkey one, even in the context of a complaint, sort of inadvertently bolsters the chinese side, as ridiculous as it is.
They can just just show a video of Chinese people at a shrimp buffet, 500 years of humiliation right there.
