In North Carolina, that is upper-class chic.

Here’s a few pics from the last two days. [/quote]

Those pictures are great. When are you going to post some more?

If you want to see some good photos of Taiwan, you should browse some of the galleries at PBase:

pbase.com/world/taiwan

Some of them are pics of friends and such, but there’s also some really neat natural and street photography in there.

Bad photographer, good camera. Some shots from my new camera (Canon EOS 20D):

Also check Flickr. Here’s my growing Taiwan gallery: http://www.flickr.com/photos/gensyn/sets/18091/ and here are all flickr photos that people have tagged with “Taiwain”:http://www.flickr.com/photos/tags/taiwan/. There’s also a Taiwan group here: http://www.flickr.com/groups/49503075090@N01/pool/

sob

I want to come back to Taiwan now!

This is a great gallery. His pictures are not only well composed, but real. They don’t lie about Taiwan, unlike some other Taiwan shots I’ve seen. You see the crowds, the dirt, the traffic. Even the coastal and nature shots are true to life, with the fishermen and motorcycles.

Those are some serious pics, maybe one day I’ll have some like that…

I don’t have any pics of taiwan yet, but here’s some from my last year in West Africa if anyone’s interested.

How do you post images?

First, get an account at photobucket.com. Upload your pics there. Then post a link to the picture in this forum. Photobucket even provides the img tags. Here’s an example from watanabee’s collection. It should look like this (without spaces)

Use the preview button to see if it has worked.

Let’s try:

Bingo!

A few more, then:

Stray dog, great pics. What camera do you use?

I see you’re using pbase for your photos. In the blurb at the pbase site it says you have to pay to have the direct linking feature. Why not just use photobucket or flickr.com ? They both have a very generous free limit. Flickr looks like a superb site with tons of features. It seems it is possible to link to pictures on flickr but I am not sure if that is allowed.

Anyway, nice pics - let’s see some more!

I use a Minolta Dynax 7. It’s an SLR, but, when finances permit and prices come down, I’ll probably get the new Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D. But I love slide, so I’ll probably use both cameras.

I’ve already paid up for another couple of years on pBase, but I’m pretty happy with it. I’ll certainly check out the others, but usually free new photo Web sites become pay sites once popular. We’ll see.
