Did you buy any other flavor but the chocolate, which is at the bottom-rung of its flavors?
Better ones are blueberry and strawberry.

Looks like a case of “shrinkflation” to me — use less sugar coating on top to cut down on costs.

I don’t think I’ve consumed a PopTart since I was in high school, but I really didn’t think even a place like CitySuper would be selling them here.

The seller “Sunny Buy” on Shopee has many flavors along with a ton of other imported US goodies.

so what is the price you would pay?

A moment of silence for all the pop tarts and Oreo flavors we will never have here:raised_back_of_hand:

I think this belongs in the How You Know When It Is Time to Leave thread

At most half of that.

They’re $2.97 in Canada.

They’re more than triple the price in Taiwan!

Just the name makes me cringle, ‘pop-tart’.

They were 50 cents/pack (of 2) in the cafeteria when I was in high school. Breakfast of champions, s’mores pop tarts were…

Edit to add: Kelloggs has something going on here in TW. Everything they sell here is at least double, often quadruple, what you’d pay in the US/Canada for the same thing.

Kellogg’s know how to market don’t they. I remember their corn flakes box as sold in Taiwan, at least at one point, had all these rustic pictures on there, including something resembling a hand crank corn mill, and some wise old people. Apparently corn flakes were invented on some idyllic farm somewhere with birds chirping and horses neighing. I think the Asia marketing team were given a two word brief, “ancient wisdom.”

I just wish that stupid ass law that makes Cheerios unavailable would get repealed.

I’ve given up on cereal/granola here now. The Taiwanification of iHerb was the last straw.

I have a box of Kellogg’s cornflakes on the top of my fridge (from Costco). For a multinational company, it’s surprising how many English mistakes they’ve managed to fit on the box.

I think I’ve seen shredded wheat a few times. That’s a goodie.

Corn flakes were invented to prevent habitual masterbation.
