either microwave, or just a can of popcorn kernels ( old school) that I can throw on a wok.
Thanks.

I buy them from a nearby Wellcome - the “old school” style usually appears on a shelf full of grains.
Most traditional markets have them as well.
Thank you!
costco sells microwave popcorn.
If you want popcorn on the dangerous side, Try popping a bit (about 1/4 cup for a decent bowl of popcorn). In another pan, Add condensed milk and about 1/4 cup sugar. I have no measurements. I just put in the sugar and a splash of the condensed milk and strir. I add more milk as it begins to get bubbly. Then it "just looks right"and boil while stirring (always stirring). When it starts to bubble, put in a splash of vanilla and a sprinkle of salt.
Pour the mix over your popcorn and keep stirring until the whole thing cools a bit and the glaze, coats all the kernels…
What you get, besides a heart attack, is each popcorn kernel coated with popcorn ball sugar glaze and kids love it. Moderation.
Don’t worry, I got 6 healthy kids that had this “goo” on a cold night on a regular basis. On the other hand, they didn’t get to eat a lot of candy crap either.
EDIT: The kids always called it popcorn with “goop”. Good name. - Consider adding some peanuts. I cant recall if it was salted or unsalted.
I found a shop in Taichung that sells 22kg sacks of popcorn kernels for cheap, just in case you really, really love popcorn.
Sounds like farm supply.
Nope, movie theater supply. Imported from the US.
