Portuguese style bread is back to Taipei, new location

Some time ago, I shared info about making Portuguese style bread once a month in a Portuguese bistro in Banqiao.

Well, some things have changed since then, and now I’m baking bread at home and selling it once a month in a different location, a tearoom near Daan Park, called Serendip. Reservations can be made on their facebook page

The tearrom is a very cosy establishment specialized in Sri Lankan tea, owned and staffed by a nice couple, if you want to also have any food or drinks there, it’s best if you make a reservation.

The next event will be on the 17th of May, Saturday. I will be making simple bread, big and small loaves, chorizo buns, chorizo and chesse buns, cheese buns and also raisins bread.

If you want to make any orders, you can reach me on the line account for the project here, or respond to this topic. The first order made since joining the account comes with a bonus small loaf or a free upgrade.

Other than this events, I am also taking individual orders, as long as they are larger than six units, that you can pick up near the Mingde MRT station. Over twelve units, I can meet you at any other MRT station.

I have also used the 7-11 shipping system to send some orders over to different cities and, so far, it has worked nicely.

Hope to see some of you there!

What about the tarts? :face_blowing_a_kiss: Any good places in Taipei for tarts? Enjoyed this place in Lisbon Confeitaria Nacional Lisboa - Tradição Centenária

Unfortunately still a no. Tuga will have limited amounts every once in a blue moon, but anything close to the actual Portuguese egg tart is still one flight to Macau away.
