Idk about you guys, I think I have 1 male friend I truly feel like I can count on.
It would be nice to just grab a nice meal with some of the people on here. Here’s my list, obviously I’m only in Taiwan maybe 2 times a year these days, but would love just go for some food. No offense to anyone I didn’t list as I can only think of some off the top off my head.

Thanks, but we have met, albeit briefly! I think it was a Taiwanease meet-up ages ago? I’m pretty sure we walked back to the MRT together. And yes, based on those few minutes, I felt / thought / hoped we got along.
Oof, I’m blushing. Nah, not nicest, for sure not. Perhaps just ever so slightly wiser about deciding when not to post, or when to delete stuff I’ve drafted (hard- and incompletely learned lessons). Plus I’m very, very quick with the Mute button (for threads and entire subforums, not just individuals!), and that helps preserve equanimity.
I have set up a reminder that I should send out a few sociable meal suggestions in the fall, after my rather busy spring and summer are done with and things calm down a bit.
