If I’m a foreigner and my postpaid cell phone plan expires while I’m abroad, do I lose the phone number?
Chunghwa Telecom app says I need to visit a store to renew the 2 year contract. Well, I can’t before it expires.
Yes, that’s a real possibility.
If I recall correctly, my expired contracts (with Far East) just changed to month to month and continued as long as I kept paying.

You don’t need to. It will change to month to month

Chunghwa told me payment had to lapse six months before I would lose my phone number
