Power outage in Germany from Sabotage?

Germany’s capital ‘Berlin’ has experienced a power outage due to….sabotage?

What’s going on here?

No more cheap Russian energy and shut down their nuclear plants years ago. Probably just can’t sustain this cold winter.

ah the great green idea….

I looked over the news quickly. It is still investigated. But apparently it was arson on an important power junction.

As the reporter said… “Left Wing Extremists

Many of these extremists are in plain sight. Time to start cracking down on this nonsense.

Why is Berlin in quotes?

It’s easy to do green energy and not rely on Russian oil. Read up on British Columbia hydro electric. And stop the conspiracy propaganda horse shit. “Green energy” should be a good thing. Sustainable is a good word. Literally, who wants dirt air/water/soil? Its a goal. Don’t let the morons brainwashing people let these words be corrupted. More reading, less youtube. Might be a good fucking idea!

Absolutely. So why again did they shut down all those green nuclear plants for Russian natural gas in Germany?

Maybe they could’ve kept it while transitioned to renewables (solar, wind, hydro etc…) Instead of relying on an adversaries natural resources to power their grid.

Because at the time, the world feared another Fukushima.

I’m not taking a side, I am just answering your question. Why? That was why.

Why not use apower system, like green energy, that has less waste and geat potential for massive long term problems (like nuclear). Njclear also relies on imports. In house energy, we should develop. Even a r etard would agree. I am not anti nuclear, but you cant agree going there without being pragmatic. Which is why i went to hydro. A fantastic example of green energy. Taiwan has other options as well.

Even solar works fantastically. But if people don’t want it, it goes wrong. Ie: solar in Taiwan occupying food security areas. Also, IE: Nuclear waste not having a single answer in terms of storage. Also not likely a VERY secure plan in case of emergencies, in terms of earthquakes, typhoons and tsunamis….all of which are common taiwan realities. Solar, wind and etc might cause some pollution if things go terrible. Some. Nuclear plants, if gone terrible, we don’t have a land mass to escape to. As a nation. Surely, you (and anyone) can grasp this fact. As a country, we are but a small land mass. This is very basic math. Politics and science aside. Simple numbers. Hard to escape the reality.

or, maybe I am totally.wrong. Are people still living right next to the Fukushima plant and no health issues at all? They are still exporting everything right from that source? If this is true, I would be so happy to eat my own words. However, even food being tested we can’t import and use anymore (despite early country corruption cases, but not now).

Hydro electric dams aren’t amazing for aboriginal landclaims and fish migrations. I get that argument 1000% truly. but they also ain’t contaminating hundreds of millions of peoples food either. Maybe we can wake up and be pragmatic ? Fellow cell phone users that need energy :hugs:
