Power Plant Shutdown Presidential Alert (13 / 17 May 2021)

Does Taiwan have a live powercut tracker thing? Like the UK has here?

haha ! Yes I hope Kaohsuing is Covid free. It’s odd it effects the north (no power)

There’s nothing funnier than a power company’s website being down because of power.

Imagine if the government sites like the CWB served ads. Every time we’d get an earthquake, the demand on their sites would probably net them millions in ad revenue.

One presumes this will allow the KMT to pivot from calling to execute Minister Chen by firing squad to a broader call for government heads to roll.

And no and I not making up the part about calling for the Minister’s death:

I bet Wanhua ‘tea houses’ would advertise there for worried citizens to relax and release stress at their establishments.

Dark mode lets you hide your shame!

‘Tea houses’ don’t need power to service their customers! Open for business right now!

Just don’t do the fragrant tea.

That’s ridiculous! How will you warm up the tea without an electric kettle ?

It’s thigh milk tea. Doesn’t need a kettle.

I was way too late catching on here…
