I’m looking for a powerful sds hammer drill - something up near 1000 Watts, has a cord (not battery powered), capable of drilling through rock (soft-ish rock, but still rock).
I know that B&Q have hammer drills, but the one we called said that they didn’t have anything more powerful than 400 Watts.
Anyone know of a store in Taipei that’ll sell this sort of thing? Even better would be a place with knowledgeable employees, so I can be sure that what they’re selling meets my needs…
Have you tried Home Box? They tend to have one or two models in their catalogues at least

The only place I’ve tried so far is B&Q because it was the only place I could think of. I’ve never looked for this sort of DIY thing in Taiwan, so I don’t even know what other stores are out there, and a google search was not very illuminating.
Can’t say I’ve ever been looking for those kind of drills, but I get their advertisement in the post and admittedly I flick through it at times so…
