What’s changed on here? The tone is more civil now. The like button appeared. Shiadoa (Alan) is no longer with us.

If course it will, that’s what’s called a family heirloom. Choose who you pass it to wisely least they accidentally sit on it. My dad sat on my pipes and broke them. I’m like that’s not how it’s supposed to work.

In my modified form, it does kinda capture the a-hole like behavior of quite a lot of “smart” phone users.

Many years ago I used to think the Reddit system of promoting the best liked and downvoting into oblivion those which were disliked was a great system. Over time it’s proven to only promote a hive mind mentality, some of the most controversial posts can be the most thought provoking.

It seems OK in some Reddits where people don’t/can’t down vote opinion posts. It’s a moderator issue.
