In Taipei at least it seems that women are going bald younger and younger all the time. I’ve seen teenage girls whose hair was obviously thinning. Anybody know the cause of this, or better yet, the cure?
Rogaine works very well on many women. They have to use the original-strength version (weaker than the current “super” blend), though, because full-strength will make them start to grow facial hair.
I’m not joking, incidentally.
As for causes, stress, pollution, bad nutrition, genetics. . . . Too many to list.
Having been to too many Taiwanese hair dressers, I think that should be added to the list.
I think the typical Taiwanese diet lacks Vitamin A and E. Both are hair healthy.
(then again so does the american diet and they keep their hair)
