Does that include a visit to the duty-free?
I need to replenish my perfume stock…

WEll to make it “authentic” they should hire some of our famous TSA personnel and have everyone get in these super long lines , take off shoes, belts, every thing in the pocket, go through the “nude” scanner and then go through Taiwan “immigration” . This way they can get the full treatment.
And those who want to pay extra can get the “special” line where they DONT have to take off their shoes.
And then fly to taitung for a day trip and back and go through Taiwan immigration and do the on board questionaire and get questioned at immigration and then go to baggage claim. The whole shebang.
This way keeps some of the good folks at the airport employed and some air hostesses and pilots employed and the planes flying. Make the whole thing like 3000nt and i bet there will be lots of takers.
Like the TSA airport (Taipei International Airport) staff here?

Special trip for Father’s Day.
Taipei, July 29 (CNA) EVA Airways (EVA Air) started selling tickets Wednesday for a special Father's Day flight next month, which will fly close to Japanese territory without landing and then return to Taiwan, as international air travel restrictions...
They could do a flight around Taiwan from Taoyuan and land in Kaoshiung, change to HSR to Taipei. Looks more like real travel abroad. Or just decorate the arrival hall like arriving in Hawaii.

I get why airlines would come up with this kind of idea, but I’d say, save the fuel, keep the air clean, do some fun stuff on the ground if you want.

Happy Father’s Day
Looks like it should be Flight BR5288 from TPE to TSA.
So they are implying that taking StarLux will somehow make you straight?
Taipei, Aug. 14 (CNA) Taiwanese airlines are inviting passengers to celebrate Chinese Valentine's Day with half-day trips that focus on the flight experience, as international travel remains restricted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Singles can go too. As long as they do not have matching parties, everything goes.
Taiwan’s economy must be quite healthy…
