Print on Demand / t shirt printing suppliers

Hello, I am currently in the process of launching a clothing line and my previous manufacturer I had in America no longer does business with smaller clients. Since mine is only new business I’m looking for places that can print graphics onto t shirts, and jackets, maybe hoodies also.

Basically DTF print (the graphic is printed onto a film like thing then heat pressed onto the clothing), most manufacturers on Printify and such only use DTG which is basically just printing ink on the shirt.

I’m ideally looking for some place that has a web interface where you can upload the designs and place them, then just order an item and they ship it to customer, including overseas customers.

So does anyone know any places in Taiwan that do this, or at least can print on t shirts for customers that walk in and pay per item? I doubt an entrepreneur visa would be good enough to run something like this but I’ve considered the working holiday visa maybe getting that and since I’ll be living off savings for a while, this would basically start as hobby I guess until it makes enough so not sure if visa issues would be a problem here… But its also the postage costals and production costs mostly I’m concerned with as target market is UK, Canada and America, so don’t know how expensive shipping would be.

Just looking to get some advice here if anyone know much about this, cheers.

I suspect you may need to figure out the shipping yourself. There might be a courier company or something which could help, but your mileage may vary.

If you do not have a work permit specifically to do that work, you are not allowed. Even a work permit to be an English teacher at one school does not allow you to teach part-time at another school. Don’t fuck around with the law especially as a foreigner without permanent residence or a passport. If you report this ‘business’ as income on your taxes you’ll likely be caught, if you don’t report it on your taxes you may still be caught and then you’re also guilty of tax fraud.

A quick search on Google maps for 製作 衣服 gives many results, most of which have LINE or Facebook interfaces as their main contact method:

I had 100 shirts done up last year in Taitung, with the shirts being silk screened, not heat-pressed so no wash out or peeling. 4 colors total, lots of designs (it was an MMA walk-out shirt, so the back was all his sponsors.)

They did the work in K’town. Great quality, good price (US$800), “western sized” for free, and they helped with the font and design placement, etc…

Smallest run was 12 shirts, I believe.

I can dig out their address if you’d like.

Do you guys use DTF or DTG more? I used Printful – good quality, but expensive. If anyone has tried DTF locally and it is stable in color fastness and fast shipping, please give me a review!
