Private preschools require cash?

It could just be me, but I find it weird that private preschools require cash each month, including the bulk payment, making us stroll around with big wads of cash.

Are they avoiding taxes or trying to save a miniscule percent that could easily be bundled into the display price?

Feels weird, and inconvenient. And a bit sketchy (smells like tax evasion). Even the high-end ones do this, from what I can tell.

99% chance it’s this

Currently sending our LO to a public/private preschool, and yes, they do require cash payment for everything, including general tuition, extra/after classes, materials and uniforms etc.

Also cash is harder to trace they can do things like buy gold etc etc and it’s never recorded as their assets.
