Pronouncing "app"?

A few years ago, I thought everyone was saying “A-P-P” (each letter spoken separately) when they wanted to say “app”. But now, when watching Taiwanese news on YouTube, I hear “app” (one syllable) being spoken. Has Taiwanese society finally switched to the one-syllable pronunciation for “app”?

Apparently, A-P-P is the uncool way to say it now, according to my friends.

They may have figured out that people were laughing at them.

I hope the next one to be figured out is ijew to IG.

There’s always other options.

Ai-yo! :man_facepalming:

I’m down with A-P-P

Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and I need A Pee-Pee.

Paging @chew

Pretty sure @ChewDawg can come up with at least one more option.

It’s O.P.P. time, other people’s, but you get it
There’s no room for relationship, there’s just room to hit it
How many brothers out there know just what I’m gettin’ at?
Who thinks it’s wrong ‘cause I’m splittin’ and co-hittin’ that?
Well if you do, that’s O.P.P and you’re not down with it
But if you don’t, here’s your membership
