Hi, I have a North American PS2 console and as of recently, the vibration function doesn’t work. Think it’s time for repairs. Where can I go in Taipei to have it repaired?

Daichi in Taoyuan can fix it for you.Maybe theres one in Taipei as well.
that’s good to know. But Taoyuan’s pretty far for me. I live in Danshui. Anywhere in Taipei would be good. They have to be able to fix a N. American console, (although i doubt there’s too much differences between the consoles as far as vibration goes), and preferably speak some english.

Or maybe it’s easier to just buy a new controller if that’s what’s broken.
I second buying a new controller.
But first just open up the controller, and see if you can tell what’s going on. I think you’re either going to be able to fix it yourself, or else you’re better off buying a new controller rather than paying for repairs.
Anyway, you can still use the broken controller as a spare can’t you?
you think i didn’t think of that? sheesh! I just bought a shiny new sony dualshock, no shakes, nothing. plus, sometimes the controller screws up and is permanently pressed to the left. I hafta unplug and plug in again. No, methinks its the console. I’ll check out the Daichi in Guting.

Umm…how come no one has suggested Gwang Hwa or Shi Men Ding?
2 shops in the Gwang Hwa Shang Tsang area specialize in consoles. I think they speak a bit of English.
