Does anyone know of any good pubs or bars in Banqiao? do they have draft beer and do they show the english premier league on TV? pretty much my only 2 needs in life

Very reasonable needs right there.
Trouble with Taipei County is that all the foreigners get sucked into Taipei City to party, drink and watch football.
However, there was a thread on here about one place in Banqiao to watch sports - I’m not sure what kind of satellite set-up they have though:

It’s quite a decent place, they have the football on the sat. Bit out the way for me so i’ve never been there to watch it, so I’m not sure if many people go or not.
I’m pretty sure they don’t/didn’t have draught.
Otherwise JB’s is probably the closest to BanChiao - 148 ShiDa road.
