I remember from my own time in Rhodesia (as was) that rugger was the big thing, but I’ve been told that (generally) whites follow rugby, blacks soccer - is this true?
How about cricket?
Generally, Blacks follow soccer, whites follow rugby,everyone follows cricket,as its the main summer sport. There’s increasingly more spillover now,with more blacks starting to follow rugby due to its high media profile,and since it’s the only SA winter sports team worth anything.
