Just wanted to run some ideas by any Canadians who’ve received a multi-entry visa from TECO. I haven’t purchased my ticket to ride yet and was thinking of ways to pinch a few pennies. What I am considering is getting a one way outta YVR or SEA to Taipei and having a continuing flight to someplace like Bangkok to satisfy my first visa run. Have any of you done this and passed the scrutiny of the Visa office at TECO? I phoned and spoke to someone at the Vancouver office and received a very vague understanding of what is expected so if you can give me a heads up on what you’ve actually done and experienced that’d be great.

Are you coming to Taipei as a student or an English teacher? When I applied for my resident visa at the Los Angeles TECO they didn’t ask to look at my plane ticket because I was a student and had an open return date.
I’m going over to tour around and see some other places on that side of the water. Only got a single entry so I think I’m F’ed for my plans anyhoo.
