Really odd personal comments

I can see your strength also being your weakness. (“Lia_og is a perfectionist, but that means he really digs in way more than he needs to”). But your weakness being your strength? 'hey Bob, I know that liam_og is a lazy sob, but that’s really his strength as well." hmmm

Something along those lines  you actually got the idea but obviously I wouldn’t play it that way

I can’t handle the truth about what you think of your own mother’s comments? :hushed:

That must be some nasty brain you’ve got, hooman! :see_no_evil:

I think what you were really asking is ‘if your own mom thinks you’re an annoying person have you ever considered the possibility that you actually are?’

In an interview, I was asked, “Do you work out at the gym?” I answered that I didn’t, then the interviewer said, “You should consider it.”.

WTF

On my way out, the secretary asked me how the interview went
I told her, “Weird”.

I got the job and worked there for 8 years.

Someone accused me of being “too smart”, or words to that effect, a few months back on here. I assume he meant “too clever by half”.

What if someone is really good at being a failure, and that is exactly what is required for a job?

What job would that be?

What if someone is only good at watching TV?

You pretty much described Donald Trump’s career. He built a very nice lifestyle out of spending and losing other people’s money.

Many moons ago, I once interviewed for one of the big chain buxibans in Taiwan and the interviewer asked me if I’d ever been to therapy, which I thought was an extremely weird and intrusive question. I’ve always wondered if that’s a normal interview question in Taiwan…

This made me laugh haha

I’m shit at that, can’t stand it. Usually get fed up and go for a bike ride after half an hour

Well, actually, he had four business units declare bankruptcy out of somewhere around 200 separate business units, the rest of which made investors (including himself) tons of money. Of the four that went bankrupt, three were casinos in Atlantic City where the Democrat politicians killed their golden geese by taxing them to death while letting their city go to complete shit around them – Trump’s were far from the only Atlantic City casinos to go bankrupt thanks to the Democrats ruining things there.

He’s not conventional enough

Having worked in numerous continents in the public and private sectors, I have had 100s of interviews.

Interviews are a two way street. If during an interview, I determine it ain’t for me, I like to have a bit of fun–to push the envelope for shits and giggles.

Examples: in a territorial interview in Canada, I got panel members to argue amongst themselves. Was entertaining to split them and cause an argument. In a French private sector interview, I remember mentioning that I considered Aquitaine an English Plantagenet fiefdom that needed a reconquista…really entertaining to watch their shock.

Even today, in a woke climate, I proudly claim to be a man of the 13th C. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: :innocent:
