Recommend hospital and doctor for vasectomy?

I can help you with that.

Don’t worry, that’s temporary. They’ll soon be back to peanut kernel size, just like before.
Sir, if you every feel like a vasectomy, by all means see me before forking NT$7k out to any doctors.
It was only NT$7 000??? If I’d had that done at 21 I could have saved myself a ton of money!

Seriously considering it now, just worried about the pain…

It really isn’t very invasive as it is. A half inch either side of your groin, and that’s it. But lasers? Christ! What do they do? Fry your nuts? No sharks heads involved, I presume/hope.

I have to admit, Mr He, i was probably keener for this until you kept mentioning the kick in the nuts sensation. I suppose if I went to Thailand and got it done there, I could simply request to be obliterated with morphine and margaritas until there was no way I’d get to experience that. How long would that take?

Edit: Hmm, as I suspected. So the laser is used in place of blade to get acess to your vas. No upside there I can think of, and only downside. I’d trust a scalpel over a laser on my boys.
Laser vasectomy
Patients have demonstrated an interest in having a vasectomy performed with a laser. Whether a laser is used or not, an opening still must be made in the scrotal skin and the vas deferens must be brought to the surface. The vas is a muscular tube without any large blood vessels. When the time comes to cut the vas, a knife or coagulation is usually used without significant bleeding and without the need for a laser. There is no significant advantage to using a laser to perform a vasectomy.
Actually, the non-invasive procedure doesn’t involve a laser I was wrong about that lol. However, it is significantly less painful, has a faster recovery time, and has a higher success rate if you want a reversal later.

I am also curious if the intra vas device (IVD) tech is available here? I know they are not in the States but it’s being developed in China. I’d much prefer to do that procedure in any case.

Oh yeah, do they test your fertility or anything before getting the procedure done? If not, where do I go to get tested first? I’d feel like a real dumbass going to the trouble if it turns out i’m infertile already anyway : P

There is some pain during the operation, then you have sore nuts for 2 weeks.

No real biggie, and the soreness is not bigger than you feel like having sex 2-3 days after the surgery.

When it’s done it’s done, all pain gone, and no new kids in the future. Now I just have to figure out how to pay for the 4 i already got.

all great advice, but any recommendations on clinics or hospitals? I guess for something so common they’re pretty much the same?

I would go to a big hospital.

Most of what I read was that the procedure is painless, so i just picked one. It was not, and I suspect improperly done anesthesia is to blame. The bigger the better.

good advice

Don’t go to that one with all the discount hotdog stands out front.
