Hi, I’m having issues with the a/c in my apartment. Can anyone recommend a service guy in the Xindian area?

What part of Xindian? I know a couple of people but can you speak Chinese?
I suggest to contact your landlord , because the AC is bought by the landlord and should know which service guy to contact
My AC also had many problems , because was old , noisy and not cooling enough , I try to contact a service guy by myself ,but they said is better to buy a new AC than fixing the old one.
The landlord bought a new AC ( frequency conversion air-conditioner = 變頻冷氣)
Definitely contact the landlord first if you don’t own the AC. If the AC is not an ancient relic then call the manufacturers service line.

That reminds me: sometimes the AC is still under guarantee or less than 10 years, you can call the manufacturing company directly.

Hi Tokyo Joe,
we had issues with our a/c as well. It’s an LG model, almost 20 years old. We went to a store where they sell a/c and they gave us the name of a repair service for LG. The repairman came to check the unit, ordered the part to be replaced and came back a few days later to do the work. It’s working well.
I suggest you check with a shop that sells the brand of your a/c.
Our landlord paid for the repairs.
