This kind older man collecting recycling gave me the go ahead for plastic and paper recycle donation,(all I could point to with the thumbs up sign-the extent of my communication abilities), but I’ve also noticed glass and aluminum being left there. Is it okay? Or will I be known as the foreigner piling my garbage outside a nice retiree’s home?
Just don’t become a Chris Matthews and get a “thrill” up your leg doing so.
Aw, speaking of non sequiturs, is aluminium and glass valued or not by recyclers in Taiwan?
both are valued, as are paper boxes
K. Thx Unfortunately, I’m not a neverending source of paper boxes. But maybe in a few years I’ll live in a paper box mansion. At least two.
Aluminium will have some value, perhaps he doesn’t have enough to make it worth a trip to the recycle yard for metals. Glass is generally worthless so might want to check him if he actually wants it or has anywhere to go with it.
