The fancy graphics are nice, but could you please post the information as text as well. It is basic common sense and enables better communication on the internet. Perhaps Forumosa needs some kind of policy about this.

I agree it would have been a nice touch, but if it isn’t included, it’s not a big deal. Island Jam, you might want to take his advice, though.

I would also prefer some text with any post, but am willing to forgive a simple poster in “Events” if all the relevant info is provided on it. :slight_smile:

Wix is very diligent in copying over events that might be of interest to the general community and posting them on his site. Adding text makes it easier to cut and paste. No text means he has to create it himself. It’s just a convenience issue.

Thanks Maoman. That is one important reason. A couple of other reasons are that (1) not everyone accessing forumosa.com can necessarily see the graphics and (2) the information in graphical form is invisible to search engines.

RIght - the reader I use on my iPhone for the forums doesn’t load images - so yeah, text is very important. Thanks for the reminder, wix.
