Rent-a-family Taiwan

I miss my family at times and I wonder if there are family rental services like in Japan?

Or maybe rent-a-foreigner.

Japan: leading the world in bizarre shit since 1902.

Maybe we can do a poll, in these times of crappy salaries. How much would you be prepared to rent yourself out for?

Funny how the rent a boyfriend/girlfriend for the holidays has not picked up here in Taiwan, with all teh family pressure and all.

But I have heard of sugar daddy and whorey girls in Taiwan, I think there’s even some app for that.

There’s a website for that, but it’s not Taiwan-exclusive. Remember the guy who was hiding out here recently? The 3D printed gun guy.

Rent-a-friend? I can be your friend for rent.

Er… say what? what about him?

He hooked up with a girl via some “sugardaddy” website and she turned out to be under 18. He found out about it whilst he was visiting Taiwan and skipped out on his return flight. Taiwan police ended up finding and arresting him to “help” the US.

did you happen to find one? I saw my friends living together 7 people in an apartment, taking turns doing chores and helping each other out and I kinda wanted to have that kind of environment. I was thinking I could rent a place for cheap and help the host family cook breakfast and do chores at night.

Should I be depressed or impressed a dead thread of this nature was revived?

Taiwan is filled with nice people. If a person is not a complete asshole, it’s easy as anything to be invited in, cooked for and maybe even have the chance to rent a room and be part of the household. Happens all the time.

Comparing to Japan is the first mistake, they have different, sometimes severe, mental health issues that Taiwan has not caught up with yet.

That’s very funny but also an interesting way of looking at where Taiwan might be headed.

Writing is already on the wall. But we will never be the same as Japan. Too free here and we don’t have winter

rent to Boyfirend in Japan, now non Japanese rent one

Is it cheaper than hiring a tour guide? Might be worth it in that case.
