But seriously, do they actually suck through straws like that if you offer them something tempting enough? It never occurred to me to find out.

Cats can’t taste sweet.
You want to make a treat for cats, make sure it’s extra bloody and meaty. They love those.
But they are unfazed by cakes or bubble tea. In fact it would be bad for them as it can cause diabetes in cats. They’re not supposed to become diabetic but since we’re feeding them grain based cat food, it causes problems. They’re not made to eat grains, they’re made to eat meat.
But whatever liquid they do want to drink, would they suck it through a straw like the picture suggests?
