Resale/Used Market in Taipei

I’m from Canada, so I’m used to Kijiji or Craigslist as a used-market, as well as Facebook Marketplace. I don’t find the appeal on getting things completely new because of the burden that consumerism puts on our landfills, so I really like to engage in the resale market.

How does the resale culture work in Taipei to get things used from one another? Is there a good centralized website for used items?

I don’t have anything specific in mind, but in general interested in things like electronics, camera gear, bike gear, clothes, bags, etc.

A lot of people don’t like buying used items because of the ghosts. And a lot of people do like buying used items.

Facebook has places to buy and sell.

I saw this recently and don’t know if it’s an actual location or only on Facebook but I think they at least have special events.

That one would be like this other one I guess:

There is also Carousell
Ruten
and Shrimpskin I mean Shopee.

Good question.

What’s it like there?

Also Fuhe Bridge flea market. There’s a small one north of Yongchun MRT, but it’s about half ladies things. Ruten is probably the best place online for second hand, but compare with Shopee because sometimes the same seller will sell the same thing for different prices for some reason. Ruten is my go-to because it’s easier to navigate and has more used products.

Thank you so much everyone. I’m realizing after doing more investigation that direct used product buy/sell isn’t a common practice in Taiwan. Instead I’ll look into stores selling used things and markets as suggested above!
