This is more of a hypothetical question but if I plan on buying an apartment in Taiwan, what kind of visa am I issued? I wouldn’t need a work visa or anything like that either.
It’s not Portugal, here you don’t get residency when buying a house. You get a visitor visa if you go to a TECO somewhere, or you get 90 days at the airport on arrival if you qualify.
They have investment visa tho but I think that buying a house is not seen as an investment.
But, you better inform with the authorities.
