Hi
Looking for ideas for a good restaurant for a company lunch (about 23 people). Buffet or set menu preferred. Budget is $1000 NT per person. Near Xinyi area (Office location). I live outside of Taipei and don’t have very much knowledge of what restaurants are good in Taipei.

Walking or driving to/from office? What style of food and atmosphere? A place like Gordon Biersch has a separate room area. Hotels can set off areas in their restaurants. Chinese restaurants commonly have separate rooms for functions.
We will take taxi’s from the office but obviously to save time don’t want to go extremely far away. Would prefer not Chinese restaurant as the timing is close to Chinese new year and we already have a Chinese new year dinner that will be Chinese food. It doesn’t need to be a separated area.

Costco has picnic benches.
You can get a lot of hot dogs for 1k a head. Or 3 pizzas per, plus a couple hot dogs. There may (or may not) be plenty of onions and relish available, too.

It’s not for chinese new year and is planned for a few weeks after chinese new year.
Fair enough.
Costco should have plenty of onions then.
This place does a pretty decent lunch buffet for like NT$800 a head.

You might be able to get Danny’s Steakhouse down to 1000 a head with that number of people.
I really like Redpoint Brewing near Daan station for western food. Google Maps
Another favorite place of mine is the The Blue Rooster at Yuanshan station. I like the bangers and mash, duck breast and mash or the mussels & fries. Google Maps
I’ve attended a party at The Brass Monkey and really enjoyed the food. Google Maps
Another place that is a tiny bit over your budget but awesome is LeBlanc for a good steak and lobster. Delicious and a fraction of the cost of Morton’s Google Maps

KFC has set menus available and will increase prices soon, so you better hurry.
We can always trust @rooftopclown to have his ear to the ground when it comes to changes in the culinary landscape. 
All super good suggestions, but they got 23 people. It might be a bit hard to fit them in those places so they can socialise together
Woolomoolo got those gigantic tables upstairs where they can all sit around the same table

you can try nomad bistro bar, they do western food and are just opened.
their prices could be done for a set menu according to your budget…
they are located in daan area.
