Retouching a picture that has been over exposed

I have taken some "really nice shot today at yangmin Shan. But most of them are over exposed. They are too bright. I have photoshop and I think it is possible to fix them. Anyone has some basic idea of how to go about doing that?
Thanks

Under “Image” “Adjustments” menu play with “levels” and “curves” to see if you can improve your images.

Also try the “Brigthness/Contrast” in the same menu.

If it doesn’t work, see if you can get your photofinisher to re-print them using a shorter developing time.
