If I have to guess he probably posted online sometime, or he had a virus or spyware and someone took it and shared it. Maybe it was following an argument, or a way to brag to his friends about how he banged that girlā¦
Either way thereās no way to remove it unless people just donāt care.
Youād be surprised. I donāt know why but countless male friends I have (both married and single) have shown me vids of them getting intimate with their partners. I never even ask to see itās either sent to me over LINE or shoved in my face during a drunk night out (as I try not to spit out my beer in shock at seeing more of my friend and his wife than I ever needed toā¦ ) 
We have all made dumb home movies but doing so should be done with the realization that there is always a small chance it may end up online where you donāt want it.
On the plus side if you visit any popular Asian porn site (not so much pornhub as it is more focused on foreigners) you will see that every day there is a ridiculous amount of new material uploaded of girls from all over Asia. So finding your girl may be yesterdays news. Unless she is super super hot in which case that is unfortunate as itāll be popular. A few years ago there was a big China/Taiwan scandal where college students showed their IDās in videos where they would then proceed to engage in sexual acts. These acts were initially done as collateral in case they could not pay back their debts, but in the end all of those videos were leaked online. They are still online to this day. I am sure for those girls it is a source of great shame and daily embarrassment. Perhaps you could research this story and see what the girls are doing/did to try remove these vidsā¦ or at least lessen the exposure

To be fair, the big names of porn websites seems to comply when asked about removing videos for legal reasons. Iād also expect those are the most frequented, so if OP can take his videos off those then heās already avoiding a lot of publicity. I agree the videos are still gonna be somewhere, but reducing coverage is still a good compromise to not doing anything. Also, given the amount of porn on the web, itād have to be oddly specific (ālook at what these three perv Asian girls can do with a ripe tomato and a kazoo!ā) for someone who wants to find that particular video to actually find it.

Sure, so if thatās where the video is, all he needs to do is email them. But it sounds as if the problem is bigger than that.
Iām not sure how many big names there are (I only know two!), but this suggests the problem is bigger than that:

I suppose recording oneself having sex is akin to sexting - many people over, I dunno, 30-35 thinks itās a bizarre risk. (And far from titillating.) But perhaps itās not so odd for younger millennials?
You guys are way too judgmental and quick to jump to conclusions. OP is probably not coming back. Iām curious to know whoās getting revenge? Itās not impossible an ex hacked someoneās iCloud or something like that. Many couples know or have a good guess of their partners passwords.

Iām having a hard time figuring how the problem is bigger. Yes the videos are out there, but given how short porn fame is, I doubt the girl will ever be bothered by it, let alone people firing her for it (is it even legal?). Sure, thereāll always be a trace of it online, but I doubt itāll be easy to find it in the middle of the trillion of other videos. All in all I think OP is freaking more than he should be.
Iām wondering how you would go about that. Amateurs videos hardly have any names featured.
An ex, a coworker, a frustrated incel neighborā¦

Maybe itās really good and his gf is really hot.
The only way I could see it become a problem is if she becomes a meme, like the white girl and the five black dudes, or if part of the video starts being used for porn ads. That last case would be the worst. But again, highly unlikely.

Well, I can tell you from experience dealing with these issues (not personally, but through work), that a professional company is the only way to go. I donāt know if it matters if they are a Taiwanese company or not, the internet is the internet, and the smaller sites are not likely to comply anyway (and they are less to worry about too).
To cover off potential work issues, although it will almost definitely have no effect on dealing with the internet problem (and it will be really embarrassing and require disclosure to your girlfriend and Police), file a police report. Then yourself and your girlfriend are victims, and legally it becomes much more difficult for any company to dismiss yourself or your girlfriend for being on those sites.
Although the OP made a mistake, I donāt think he has been treated fairly. This is very common among the under 30 crowd these days (filming/photographing yourself with your girlfriend, etc.), and the problem the OP is having is more common than you think. I have dealt with people having these issues (mostly under 30), multiple times, and really, it is not something that most people want others to know about.

How did someone else get a hold of your video? Did the girl consent to being filmed? What are the 20+ links to the video? We canāt help you if we donāt have the full story.
Companies always find a way or reason to fire. They retain employment lawyer(s) too.

Sure, I agree, but in this case I think itād have a fair chance in court if theyād fire her for recordings that were made public without your consent.
