Richard Spencer endorses Biden - and Biden's campaign rejects him

No they’re just trying to silence them. I’ve seen this trend from conservatives on this board. They admittedly block people they don’t agree with and dodge substantive arguments, in favor of rants on identity politics (Antifa, communists, marxists socialists etc.)

I am tired of conservatives telling us what we believe. I agree that conservatives are restricting freedom based on my definition of freedom. If the ideological purpose of conservatives is to “conserve” and that status quo has restricted freedoms, then you are restricting freedoms by preserving the status quo.

The type of freedoms that conservatives like to restrict are ones that do not agree with their values or do not suit their political aims (i.e., minorities voting).

  1. Universal suffrage as exhibited by bojack and his citizen hierarchy

  2. Freedom to marry who you chose

  3. Freedom to do with your body what you chose

  4. Freedom to not die from a preventable/curable disease

  5. Freedom to not have children indoctrinated with judeo christian values as interpreted by conservatives.

  6. Freedom to make a living wage and not subject to abject poverty despite working full time.

I’m sorry I cant equate any of the claims that liberals are doing the same when the main complaint is “we had to learn a new pronoun”.

Pronoun situation in Canada? What a fucking joke as if that has any bearing on anyone’s life.

Someone literally tried to cancel culture me off these boards, by someone who clearly says they hate cancel culture.

I always get these comments ‘nobody takes you seriously’…after I guess I’ve been told I’ve been blocked.

Then there’s the classic strategy of spamming with nonsense, as opposed to giving any kind of answer, because they don’t like your opinion and just want to see it bumped up. See @rowland and the post after this one I’m quoting.

Then there’s the really funny one of attempting to bait you into personal attacks.

It’s a lot of effort to achieve a safe space. It would be a lot cooler if people could just honestly debate with substance though.

Hi!

You might want to smoke less of that substance.

I read parts of it, but I do find a dearth of paragraphs daunting.

I did read enough to understand that in a paroxysm of personal offense you’ve missed my point (again), which I’ve made countless times here.

To wit: if you haven’t lived in the US, if you haven’t raised a family there or started a business there or owned a home there, if you’ve never paid Federal, State, and Local income taxes then you are misinformed about the American experience.

I don’t begrudge your opinions; holding opinions is normal. I simply find that your lack of experience behind those opinions makes you shallower than an infant’s bathwater.

As I’ve said many times before, it’s the lack of experience living an American life coupled with strong opinions about the direction of the USA that I struggle to respect. Driving through eastern Montana is not exactly the kind of American experience I’m talking about.

I also find it beyond galling when folks who’ve never paid shit in US taxes begin arguing for higher taxes and more bigger gubmint in the USA. It’s not on your dime, after all. I suspect you don’t even realize how offensive an American taxpayer might find it. :idunno:

If I’ve mischaracterized your motive re: shiadoa, then I apologize.

I cannot see the Alt right and the KKK getting along. The KKK would likely regard the Alt right as metro sexual closet gays and the Alt right see the KKK as has been hicks with unkempt beards.

I would agree with that assessment but also that both groups vote republican. I don’t think the KKK is really relevant anymore. Alt Right has made racism cool again by trying to make it more acceptable. Trump of course plays that to his advantage by sometimes trying to play both sides, not denouncing, and making vague statements (i.e. “good people”).

For our friends to the north:

You will never understand the intricacies of our sophisticated culture nor comprehend our 5,000 years of history. Your Canadian brain just can’t handle it.

You have healthcare but imagine if you didn’t, and instead you had big ass tanks and guns to fight endless wars. See? You can’t do it.

Driving a tank is wonderful. I can make my own parking spaces.

Just bring lots of coins.
