Roe v. Wade overturned

I have no time for this.

They are, though I think they should be covered by NHI like in France.

They’re easily available, but the legal basis is very shaky. It’s still basically illegal except under certain conditions.

That is way better than it being NOT easily available, which already is the case in many southern states.

This should be Taiwan’s official slogan, really.

Never heard you complain about most abortions being illegal in Taiwan.

It’s pretty scary really. It turns laws into weapons the government can selectively enforce at their whim.

The doctor read through all of your posts and you never once mentioned abortion in Taiwan therefore you are not entitled to that opinion. Aha!

Yeah, “rule by law”. I don’t disagree. It’s weirdly easy to forget that you’re constantly breaking laws in normal life, until you run into the wrong person. Still, things seem to be getting slowly better.

Who said @gain isn’t entitled to his opinions? Just noting his selective outrage. That’s my opinion.

That makes no sense at all.

They are not illegal. What are you on about?

They’re still illegal unless certain conditions are met. Those conditions aren’t met in most cases.

The genetics health act takes precedence over the criminal code so no, it’s literally never illegal because every scenario is covered by the genetics health act.

Under the act, abortions have to meet certain conditions. They mostly don’t. It’s just not usually enforced.

I’m waiting for a rational explanation how a “mass of tissue” magically transforms into a human being while exiting the birth canal. Going to be a while apparently . . .

No. All abortions can fall under the scope of section 6.

That’s subject to a doctor’s assessment. Have you ever been to an abortion clinic? The doctor doesn’t assess shit. You pay your money and get your abortion.

Are you a lawyer? Doctors don’t assess shit because they know all abortions can fall under the scope of section 6.

Because Jesus?

Which requires a doctor’s assessment. Look, I’m pro-abortion. I just think the right should be put on solid legal ground.

It doesn’t require a doctor’s assessment. Who told you that?
