Romaine lettuce

Seriously…WTF? I can’t seem to find any Romaine lettuce this week in Taipei. I’ve tried Cost Co, Carrefour, and Matsusei. One of if not all usually have some stock. Seems like it’s been this way since last week already. Odd. Jason’s didn’t have any either when I was there last weekend.

Anyone have any ideas?

Plant some and you’ll have baby lettuce in 2 weeks, lovely heads in 3-4… it tastes better if you grow it yourself, too. :slight_smile:

Our local Wellcome was out this past week too. And the lettuce we planted – well, let’s just say it made a LOT of caterpillars VERY happy.
