Safety of flights to Europe?

I don’t worry much about flying through the airspace - I am more concerned about transferring in Dubai / Abu Dhabi / …

As posted in the other thread, most countries have issued travel warnings for UAE and others:

Same with the UK:

FCDO advises against all but essential travel to United Arab Emirates.
[…]
Your travel insurance could be invalidated if you travel against advice from the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).

US:

United Arab Emirates - Level 3: Reconsider Travel
Reconsider travel to the United Arab Emirates due to the threat of armed conflict and terrorism.

Germany:

Travel to the following countries and territories remains strongly discouraged:
Israel/Palestinian Territories, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Yemen.
This travel warning also applies to transit stays for onward flights to other countries.

Personally, I do have a flight booked with Emirates from TPE->DBX->ZRH in May - I do hope that the situation improves until then. Otherwise, I will probably cancel / reschedule (whatever means less money wasted…) and book with another airline…
