Saffers and the job market?

When I ask about the prices before, the inflation looks way more higher than the goverment numbers, they also often says to the foreing, Taiwan is a country without inflation, I wonder what the real numbers are

Locals know there has been a lot of food inflation.

A lot of countries (ridiculously ) don’t include property prices or rent in their inflation statistics !

In Taiwan we had a massive run up in property prices over almost two decades…This has come to a halt already. Rent is fairly steady with relatively small increases I feel.
The government is careful not to raise electricity costs and transports costs too much. Taxes haven’t increased. Education costs same.

Recent inflation is from the food costs but the bulk of inflation was property prices over long term.
