I’m wondering if anyone knows of a club/group that practices Sambo in Taipei? I’ve heard that one exists, but have yet to find the proof. Hoping Forumosans can help me out!
What Sambo is for reference:
Sambo is less established outside of former soviet republics.
Judo is similar to Sambo and more readily available.

You are probably right. I wanted to find a wrestling school but it is hard to find because it is mostly high school clubs, but nothing else. So it is not an option.
There is actually a judo school right by my apartment, but it’s mostly Olympic style judo which does not allow leg grabs and focuses too much on dogi gripping.
I have done Sambo for over 5 years, Judo for 7 years and Wrestling for one year. ‘Retired’ due to some issues with back pain and higher risk of injury in such competitive sports for adults.
Most adults who still practice competitively are mostly instructors themselves and train among each other.

No, I live south of Taichung. I don’t know much about the situation in Taipei.
